A lavender scented wedding

Hold your breath! The wedding we share with you today will blow your ind away! When a wedding planner decides to walk down the aisle along with her loved one, you can’t expect less than pure magic! That’s what happened when Peny (one of the two Elite Events Athens) married her dear Tasos at the most romantic island of Greece! Today is going to smell like lavender!

The way Peny and Tasos met was not romantic at all. “We met when we had to fight over the last available table at the coffee shop we have been there with our friends. Of course I could never imagine that this would be the beginning of our life together”, Peny told us.

The wedding proposal came many years later, since when they first met Peny was just 19 years old. “The summer he proposed we were on vacations in Santorini with two of our friends. One night after our dinner we decided to take a walk just the two of us around Oia. As we were walking he started searching his pockets and I asked him if he has forgotten something!”. He took the ring out of his pocket put the ring on her finger and asked her to become his wife. “Even if we were so many years together I felt such a joy and happiness that even now I can feel the tense of the moment”.

Where he proposed, that’s where they decided to get married. Peny wanted her wedding to be exactly the way she had dreamed it and took care personally of every small detail. Beside the two Dj’s she had planned a surprise string quartet for the quests. Instead of wedding favors they offer to their guests small presents while with no doubt Ocean Song Roses, especially ordered from Ecuador impressed all of her friends and family.

Like every wedding of Elite Events Athens, this one was no exception and was a themed wedding based on lavender which was used at the decoration, the flowers, the wedding gifts, the invitation and the bridal bouquet! The bride glowed in her amazing Peter Langner wedding gown, while the magical hands of Mr. Manos Vynichakis completed her total look with the make up and hair styling!

“I was not nervous at all during that day! I was getting married to the guy I loved, everything was the way i dreamed about and all the people I loved were just next to me”, Peny told us and she gave us her own advice for all future brides to be, “Have your wedding the way you dream abut and do not lost yourselves within typical choices and cliches. We didn’t have a wedding cake but a chocolate fountain, we shared shot-glasses and invite all of aour friends to come with us and drink that sweet ‘heaven’. Those small details will make your wedding special!”.
