A rustic wedding at Ktima Meimaridi
16 Feb 2016 | 0 | |The wedding we are going to share today with you just blew our minds. Simple, chic and rustic. You are going to love it and trust us you will get inspired a lot!
Stella and Dimitris met at a masqueé party that Dimitri’s cousin organized with her husband. Stella was dressed up as a pirate and Dimitris as Charleston. Their masks didn’t stop them from falling in love while the party hosts later became their maid of honor and best man!
What I loved at him was his calmness (although that today sometime it can drive me crazy), and his aura that makes me feel relaxed. He says he fell in love with my eyes. The wedding proposal happened 1,5 years after we first met on my birthday at a wonderful restaurant on Tsagarada, Pelion”, Stella told us and she continued, “All the days before the wedding I was really nervous and stressed. But the morning of my wedding day I was so calmer than anyone else… I lived every moment as much more as I could!”.
he wedding’s colors were earthy and the couple chose wildflowers. “We love simplicity and the venue we chose is so full of green that anything more would be excessive. We haven’t seen each other for almost a week before the wedding and our communication was very little. When I arrived at the church and we looked each other… that was our moment…”
hen we asked Stella to tell us something special and different that their wedding had she told us, “Before arriving at the reception, we had prepared a video with our photographer a few days before, in which, beside the typical photos of both of us, Dimitris was talking about me and I was talking about him. The touching moment was that we heard what each other had said that very moment”. Thumbs up guys! What a great idea!
“When I first saw our wedding pictures I felt so moved and surprised since we saw things that we didn’t remember or we didn’t even notice them. George of Behind the scenes is a guy who loves his work and is a great professional. That makes you feel safe and sure that the only think he cares about is the result of your photos and video”.
Sweet Stella gave us her advice for all future brides to be:
“Don’t get nervous or upset for thing that might go wrong while you plan the wedding or even on your wedding day. Remember that this is your moment and you have to live it as much as you can!”.
