Olga met Stelios while studying in the university in Whales but for a very long time the only think they told each other was a typical “Hi”. After three years they decided to become roommates and a business trip brought them closer… and so they became a couple.

“What really impressed me in Stelios was his leadership skills that captivates everyone around him… not just me!” Olga confided to us, while Stelios told us that it was her beauty that made him notice her from the very beginning!

Stelios knew that Olga was the one, from the first year they were together, so he decided that her birthday would be the perfect time to pop the question! “I made a reservation to our favorite restaurant and when we arrived there was a huge bouquet on the table. The wedding proposal came alongside the birthday cake while the piano player played the birthday song!”.

Here at WeddingTales, we met Olga when we organized her bachelorette photoshoot and we saw her wedding photos, truth be told we got a little jealous of her amazing wedding decoration by Rock Paper Scissors, her wedding shoes and ofcourse her gorgeous wedding dress!

The concept of their wedding was decided from the very beginning since Olga loves everything vintage and vintage is really her style. Influenced by that era, she decided that even her bachelorette party should not be something mundane, but a “journey back in time” with her best friends!

«People in the UK have concept photoshoots even if there isn’t a special occasion. That is how I first got the idea for a bachelorette photoshoot and my friends loved the idea when I proposed it to them. Since we have been friends for ages, we have gone out and partied so many times and for so many years. I wanted something completely different for my wedding that we would treasure for life, with a 50s vibe and of course with a lot of fun.”

For their wedding planning, Olga trusted Elena Chaviara from Rock Paper Scissors with her eyes closed and the only thing she regrets is not finding her and working with her sooner. “I met Elena through an old friend of mine that works with her, right when I was feeling desperate that I would never find anyone to help me with the planning and the time of the wedding was approaching fast. We immediately hit it off and she understood exactly what we wanted. We really believed that we could trust her with planning our wedding.”

Luckily there was no rain on the day of Olga’s and Stelio’s wedding and everything went according to plan! “There is no doubt in saying that I would suggest Elena to future couples… and if the photos of my wedding are not enough to convince them, I can tell them that Elena is a professional with amazing ideas that will definitely become your best friend before the wedding!“.
