Megan and Giannis met through a common friend, even though they lived in different countries. Even the wedding proposal was done through the phone! She was living in Spain and he was living in Greece. “The most beautiful part of the wedding for me was when I walked to meet Yiannis and our baby at the beginning of the ceremony. I was accompanied by my Mom, our amazing paranifakias and our Koumbara and two great musicians who played and sang to let everyone know we were coming. It was lovely to see our families and friends all around and to see my two favorite people waiting for me.

For her wedding day Megan chose a tight, mermaid wedding dress with lace. “It was flattering on me, even though it was figure-hugging. I loved the color (slightly off-white), the lace pattern, and the style (sweetheart neckline and mermaid skirt). I was very happy with my choice”.

“When we first saw our wedding pictures, we thought the photographers did an amazing job. Next, we couldn’t believe that we could have such a beautiful wedding in terms of people attending, venue, delicious food, fantastic music. Finally, we hope to look back and remember the good times but also remember the reason we made this commitment to each other and our family”.

Megan’s advice to all future brides to be is that:

"If you are getting married in Greece, to find a venue that you really love and that you believe is professional. In our case, everything ran very smoothly, and this was because our venue executed the event as they promised and as we expected"
