Lebanese armenian lavender wedding23 Jan 2017 | 0 | |
Today, all WeddingTales smells like lavender. And this is because of Cynthia and Sevag’s wonderfully romantic, glam summer wedding from Elite Events Athens girls. Two Lebanese with a life’s dream to get married in Greece. And it came true! And everything was amazing! Super amazing!
“Sevag and I attended the same university. Even though our majors were different, our paths crossed and we became very good friends over the years… The wedding proposal never really happened “per se” … we were spending our summer 2011 vacation in Spain; …we were in our hotel having breakfast when he suddenly asked me if I thought getting engaged during the Christmas festivities wasn’t a good idea! Friendship had taken another turn :)”.
If we had to say something about the couple’s wedding that would have been Lavender Glam, and Cynthia agrees with us! “We’ve always wanted to have a simple yet elegant and classy wedding by the sea … and we just love the lavender and lilac shades that we combined with a vintage touch … the theme was reflected in my lilac peony bouquet, to the centerpieces, wish table, and guest favors! As for my wedding dress the moment I saw it I knew it was going to be “THE DRESS”… when I tried it on, I felt confident, elegant and beautiful!”.
“Our wedding day was, in itself, a beautiful memory but maybe the two most memorable moments were when my father walked me down the aisle and when we surprised my parents with a mini cake to celebrate their wedding anniversary (because we both got married on July 19!) Christos Theologou and his team understood perfectly well the mood of our wedding day…they made us feel comfortable and knew exactly what emotions of us and our loved ones to capture … we were ecstatic and excited to work with such a professional team… The pictures and video turned out to be superb!”.
Cynthia really had the wedding she was dreaming about and her advice to all future brides is this:
“Have fun, don’t overthink, enjoy the planning process! On the day of the wedding, no matter what might go wrong or unexpected, embrace it with positivity and enjoy every minute of it! Your loved ones will remember how you made them feel, that’s the key to a successful wedding day!”.
