And yes, the couple decided to have a first look, see each other moments before the wedding! Erin has a lot to tell us…

“The wedding proposal happened while we were on vacation. We traveled to Savannah, Georgia and then to Asheville, North Carolina in the Fall of 2013. In Asheville we went to visit Biltmore Estate. Kirk arranged for photographers there to capture the moment. It was one of the most beautiful and breathtaking moments of my life. The scenery was so beautiful and I was so happy that I cried. The next day we announced our, engagement to all of our friends through social media and also announced that we were 3.5 months pregnant!”.“I met Kirk in high school and we were good friends through college – never romantically involved. We lost touch completely for 4 years and when we ran into each other we instantly fell in love! I felt in love with him because he was the same guy I had always loved but even better – he had grown and matured into a wonderful mas over the time we were out of touch. He says that he felt in love with my unmatched beauty and intelligence!”.

“I was very nervous on my wedding day, I was an hour and half late getting to my hair and makeup appointment and I didn’t know if I was going to have everything ready in time or having enough time for photos. If I could change something of that day I wouldn’t have been so late!”.

“Our wedding was a combination of Green and American influences. I am American and Kirk although born in America fells very connected to his Greek roots. He really wanted to celebrate our marriage in Greece. The wedding colors we chose were crème, blush pink, navy and silver. We wanted something romantic and classic that played off the natural beauty of Santorini! Definitely the most touching moment of the day was seeing our daughter as our flower girl!”.
