“While being a student in Patra, when I was 23 years old, my best friend used to work in a small bar int he traditional alley of Radinou with Dimitris. That’s how we met.. he used to buy me every night my favorite pina colada cocktail!!! After that my best friend Ioanna who introduced us became my maid of honor!!”.

That’s how the love story of Eugenia and Dimitris began. After a few years they decided that they belong to each other. “Besides his good look, what impressed me was his kindness, his kind ways and the fact that he is overprotected and makes me feel safe!”, Eugenia told us, while on the other hand, Dimitris fell in love with the beauty of her soul.. That’s the point where we look each other and wonder “Dimitris, are you real?”.

The wedding proposal may not have gone the exact way Dimitris had planned but it was still so romantic that cute Eugenia couldn’t say no! “He had order the ring and at the same time he planned a trip to St. Athanasios, Kaimaktsalan to surprise me and propose in the ski center.. But the delivery of the ring got late and ruined his plans. We went to our trip and a week later he asked me to spend the rest of our lives together, the moment I woke up offering me a cup of coffee with ring right beside the mug!”.

Eugenia admits that she is very nervous in general so the same thing happened during her wedding day. “I wanted everything to be just the way I panned them, but most of all I was nervous because of the weather. If it had rained it would have ruined everything! Thankfully the moment I saw Dimitris waiting for me at the top of the church’s stairs I felt relaxed and forgot all my fears.

Our wedding didn’t have a specific theme. The style was rustic-vintage. The colors were earthy, burlap white and some yellow details. We wished our wedding decoration to be harmonized with the natural enviroment. I can say that everything was the way we dreamed of. If I could change something of that day, I wish I was less nervous”.

hen she first saw the pictures of their wedding she felt.. “Nostalgic and emotional! I was reliving the day through the eyes of our Photographer, Prokopis. He was the wedding photographer to a friendly couple the year before and we were impressed by his professionalism, something that we also realized the moment we met him. Prokopis is definitely a great professional and we couldn’t say anything bad about him. He is very organized, he lets nothing to luck and he loves surprises, something that made us wait anxiously for our wedding day! We definitely recommend him to future brides to be”.
