Yes, we know… we have told you many times before but that’s how things are! We are madly and deeply in love with destination weddings. Either the couple chooses a destination because of where they come from, or because they are sentimental attached to this place or just because… destination weddings -especially the ones in our beautiful islands – are by far our favorites! That’s what happened with Sofia and Chronis’s wedding in Koufonisia. Can you just imagine what an amazing wedding we are sharing with you today?

Sofia met Chronis at Volos. “In a town, like Volos it is very easy to see someone everywhere you go. That’s what happened with us. We kept seeing each other everywhere by chance, but the reason to meet was a handmade Xmas card. On that day, we just realized we knew each other since forever!”.

“The wedding proposal happened on a day that I didn’t expected at all, and it is what we call “He made my day”. Red roses, a white little box and a love confession that I still remember and get goosebumps! I didn’t even think it before I said YES!”.

Their wedding was full summery and it looked like a huge and amazing party! The wedding colors were shades of white and blue to match the island’s colors. “The most beautiful memory of our wedding was the moments we were walking to the church. We followed the island’s tradition and we walked together to the church with our friends and family under the sounds of violin and lyre”.

Sofia took our breath away with her impressive, ethereal Anem wedding dress, while their wedding pictures just confirm how beautiful that day was for the couple and their guests as well! “When we first saw our wedding pictures we felt so happy with our decision! Looking for a wedding photographer I had exactly what I wanted but I didn’t know how to find it. Nikos’s site was the first and the last one I checked. I still remember how I felt when I saw his work and I immediately started thinking how would our wedding pictures be. The result though was over any expectation I had. I look at them over and over again and I can’t imagine how happy some photos can make you! As years will pass by, and these memories will start to fade, our wedding pictures will always be here to remind us how passionately we lived that day!”.

What we really loved of Sofia and Chronis’s wedding – besides of course the ultra-chic look of the bride – the fact that the couple got ready next to each other and they walked together hand by hand to the church!
