5 wedding traditions that will never change
And we are super happy!
Like this:

- THE WEDDING CAKE
It is true that our beloved candy tables might have taken over the last few years but as much beautiful and impressive they are; they will never steal the thunder of a majestic wedding cake. Small, big, impressive, simple, designed or not, the wedding cake is a wedding trademark. Trust us even if you don’t want to cut a cake, since you believe is kind of old tradition, you have to have one on your desserts table.
*OUR ADVICE: Give the appropriate attention and take care of your wedding cake so it is the leader of your desserts!

Wedding Cake: Lixoudis - YOUR BACHELORETTE PARTY
Yes, yes, yes, a thousand time yes! No matter what, even if you think is stupid or juvenile, please do not miss it! Okay it is kind of funny if you think that you are going out to celebrate your last day of freedom (you are not going to prison, you are just getting married), but no matter what see it as a chance for a crazy girls’ night out! Please do not miss it! You will regret it!
*OUR ADVICE: If you don’t want to do what everyone does you have so many other options. Spa day, sailing day, girls sleep over, astrology night, bachelorette photoshoot! Please, seriously, do not miss it!
Planning: Elite Events Santorini |Photography: Phosart Photography & Cinematography - SEE EACH OTHER BEFORE THE WEDDING
Most brides will tell you that they don’t want to see the groom before the wedding because they want to see his reaction the moment they arrive at the church. In reality, is much more than that. Most of all is the agony and the excitement you both feel before the ceremony that gets bigger when you haven’t seen each other. Forget prejudices and jinx… The anticipation to see him and for him to see you will reward you.
*OUR ADVICE: Keep the mystery alive as much as you can! Yeah we love the idea of a bride and groom that get ready together and go to the church together, but deep down we are hopelessly romantic and in this case we vote for tradition and suggest you do the same!
Planning: My Best Wishes Events | Photography: Adrian Wood - THE BRIDAL BOUQUET
There is no bride without a bridal bouquet. Brides used to have a bridal bouquet because it symbolizes the pureness and fertility. According to tradition the groom is the one who offers the bouquet to the bride the moment she arrives at the church and we shout YES to this tradition!
*OUR ADVICE: If you want to make a difference and classical choices then you can choose a bridal bouquet made of paper flowers, fabric flowers or even a special brooch bridal bouquet. Choices are endless!Wedding Photography: Anna Roussos | Wedding Planning & Styling: White Ribbon Boutique Events - WEDDING RINGS
In Ancient Egypt circle symbolized eternal love, so rings were considered the wiser choice for the union of a couple from ancient Romans. No matter what, wedding rings are part of the wedding and this will never change. We don’t think we want to…
*OUR ADVICE: Make sure to choose a ring that you will be able to wear daily, and you will be able to combine it with all kinds of jewelry and you just won’t want to take it of your finger!!
