Clean bridal makeup

Deep green eyes, short blonde hair and a dreamy BERTA wedding dress. That was Irene. She made us lose our minds on her wedding day with her amazing beauty and style. Although, nothing would have been the same if our beloved Vasiliki Livadiotis hasn’t taken care of Irene’s bridal makeup.

“I knew I wanted a makeup that would have been in total harmony with my whole look. I also knew what I didn’t want… a strange face and so different than me that I couldn’t support. We didn’t need to go through pictures and many photos with Vasiliki, since through the conversation she had the vision of my makeup really fast. We had two rehearsals before ending up choosing the wedding makeup. Both of them were amazing and so close to my style. We chose the second one since it had more eternal elements and it was the brightest of the two”.

Irene’s makeup on her wedding day was exactly the same as the one they had chosen with Vasiliki on the last rehearsal.

To be honest I never even thought that the makeup I saw when I looked myself in the mirror may be ruined during the night. Thankfully, Vasiliki had already though about that and she gave me a lipstick and a small discreet powder pon pon just in case

The makeup sweet Irene choose had as base the red lipstick. “I chose a bridal makeup that was very classic and clean, which succeeded to balance the tense between the lips and the eyes, instead of the fact that my lipstick was deep red. I might say that we focused on created a soft and clean base with lots of sparkles”.

“Vasiliki is a real makeup artist, with innate style, knowledge and constant updating about all the last rends. She is a flawless professional. An important reason for a bride to be to choose Vasiliki is her consistency, her serenity and her positive energy that are necessary during such important and stressful moments. I know her many years and I am a fan of her work. When after the first rehearsal I realized that we had a great chemistry as well, I knew that choosing her as my wedding makeup artist was a one-way route”.

If I could give my advice to all future brides out there, I would say to them ‘You have to choose a makeup style that it will be YOU, it will complete you and won’t make you feel uncomfortable. Either that’s something too much or something more minimal’.

On the other side, when we asked Vasiliki about Irene’s makeup she told us… “What impressed me was the fact that I was chasing Irene to have makeup rehearsals. She is the coolest bride ever. We had two rehearsals the week before the wedding and tried two totally different styles. The truth is that from the beginning we both knew that she would have chosen the one you see, since Irene is all about red lips!”.
