In order to be calm and bother your head only with your wedding planning we gathered all the do’s and don’ts you need to know about social media. Pay attention…
- DO
Use social media, like pinterest or tumbrl as inspiration in order to get ideas for your wedding. You will definitely find lots of pretty ideas and DIY projects that you haven’t even thought about.
DON’T
Don’t be carried away with all the beauty you will find in these social media. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t achieve the result you see on the screen of your tablet or your laptop. The most important thing here is that your wedding has your personal touch and personality and believe us, at the end it is going to be the best wedding ever!

- DO
Announce your engagement on Facebook or Instagram with a fabulous ring selfie!
DON’T
Don’t do it after he got on his knee. If you ask us, wait at least a whole day to suck in all the happiness and joy. And don’t forget that it not the best way for your parents and siblings finding out that you are engaged through social media, is it? Make the big announcement first to them and then you can inform your internet friends.

- DO
Upload photos of your engagement session. It is an amazing way to inform your friends for your engagement and your wedding day.
DON’T
Do not upload the whole engagement session album. Seriously it is one of the cases that less is more. - DO
Refresh your Instagram, facebook, twitter and snapchat account with all the fun you have during your wedding planning! Tweet about your cake tasting or snapchat during your wedding dress rehearsal.
DON’T
Do not overload your friends’ newsfeed with all of your wedding planning. Seriously no one really cares what you do every single moment of your day. Above all, you will tire them so much, you won’t believe how many will unfollow you.

- DO
Find an amazing wedding hashtag and use it every time you upload a photo, you update your status or tweet.
DON’T
Don’t lose yourself in the wonder wonderland of social media and start comparing everything with what you see around. Who has the bigger ring, who has the more expensive wedding dress, who has the best photographer etc. You have to keep in mind, that your wedding is yours and yours only and you should not compare it with the others!
