What NOT to wear at a wedding
The rules of a well dressed guestThere are some certain rules around what a guest can or cannot wear at a wedding. If you don’t have directions from the couple itself (if for example they have a dress code), then you must know that there are some things you should NEVER EVER wear at a wedding! And we have a list of them:
WHITE
No need to say more. White is the color of the bride. Period.
FLIP FLOPS
Oh, please don’t wear flip flops at a wedding. You can easily replace them with a pair of flat sandals. Flip flops are so casual that they do not fit an event like a wedding.
DON’T SHOW YOUR UNDERWEAR
We know sheer and illusions are in fashion, but please chose the right underwear to pair them. It’s not chic to show off your undergarment at a wedding.
SWEATPANTS, SWEATERS, COMFY CLOTHES
Wedding is an event that doesn’t allows you to present yourself with casual and comfy clothes. You can, of course choose something comfortable for your body but it needs to be reasonable for the occasion.
NOT SOMETHING REALLY SEXY
This is not the day or the event to show off your sexy side. You don’t need all eyes on you on that day!
DENIM
That. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR DEMIN. Of any form. Period.
WHAT MIGHT MAKE THE BRIDE ANGRY
Either because of the color, or the fabric, or the design, please make sure what you’ll wear at a wedding won’t make the bride angry..
