Wedding Planning: Rock Paper Scissors
- Mistake #1: Trying to incorporate every aspect of your wedding at the wedding invitation
Keep one thing in your mind… Less is more! Although it is a pretty good idea to incorporate aspects of your wedding, like the colors, your initials, your wedding moto or your wedding #hashtag, do not overdo it! - Mistake #2: Typo mistakes
Keep your eyes wide open! Imagine sending out wedding invitation with typo mistakes! Nightmare. Make sure again and again that every word is written correctly. Ask your friends and family to take a look at the wedding invitation before you start giving them to guests just to make sure! - Mistake #3: Using too much color
Okay it is true. We all adore colorful invitations. Imagine a light yellow or a joyful mint! Do not be carried away thougt. Keep your colors soft and combined properly and of course make sure that the test is visible. - Mistake #4: Order too much
Don’t get confused. You won’t have to give an invitation to each one of your guest. Calculate to how many families you will send an invite and that’s how you will calculate the number of your wedding invitations, cutting down the cost to half. - Mistake #5: Order too few
On the other hand you don’t want ending up with less wedding invitations than the ones you need. Please make sure that you order enough so you don’t end up inviting your guests through phone! - Mistake #6: Hiring a calligrapher way too late
You have to hire your calligrapher early enough if of course you want your wedding envelopes to be unique and special. Give time to your calligrapher to get all the envelopes ready with the best result so you can have the outcome you are dreaming about!
