Traditional wedding in Spetses

Stephanie and Christoforos’s wedding that we are sharing today with you is stunning! The couple decided to get married in Spetses since they always imagined a Greek island wedding, they admire the beauty and the energy that Greek islands have. They also believed that their guests and them would have an unforgettable time together and create memories that last forever. And they were just right about that.

“My Best Wishes Events had organized a wedding of another couple from Limassol and we saw pictures in Facebook. Thereafter we immediately clicked through a Skype call and felt incredible chemistry and trust that our wedding would be as we imagined.”

Different shades of grey and beige colors along with some elegant gold touches were used in the decoration of the wedding. The ceremony took place at the charming chapel of Agios Mamas by the sea. Both groom & bride arrived in a traditional horse carriage accompanied by local musicians. Keep in mind that in the island of Spetses no vehicles are allowed.  All guests were treated with fresh infused water and fresh fruits from our refreshment station, while waiting for the bride to arrive.

The dinner party was held on the beautiful beach of Vrelos, under the pine trees overlooking the blue crystal clear waters of the sea. A Bedouin tent decorated with magical light garlands, hosted long, family style tables that we decorated with grey cement platted bottles and square mirror vases full of white freesias, vanilla roses, grey hydrangeas along with fresh basil and rosemary bouquets.
