Today’s wedding is full summery! It took place on a beach in Chalkidiki and the couple is so beautiful we just can’t take our eyes off of them. What you need to know about this wedding is the fact that the main decoration was based on olive leaves, the wedding party lasted till the first morning hours and their after wedding photo shoot is probably one of the most amazing ones we have ever see. Oh, yes..and you are gonna melt with what he told us about her!

Aliki met Lawrence while they were still at school. A common friend called her will she was on vacation with her parents at their country house and suggested to go to the beach with some of her friends that had just arrived from UK. “They came to pick me up from my house and that was the first time I saw Lawrence. The funny thing is that the first that time was the day he met my parents as well”.

It was not love at first sight. “He was all red because of the sun and when I first looked at him I though he looked like a lobster. The same night we planned to go out all together and he asked me to lent him an iron to iron his shirt. I think that was the moment I fell in love with him. I am crazy about guys who know how to take care of themselves. The truth is that the ‘big bang’ happened when my mom took my aside and told me..’Lawrence is such a great guy, why can’t you find someone like him?’. I just followed her advice!”.

“I was on vacations with some friends when out of pure luck I met the most beautiful person ever! It was the fast humor and her sauciness that made me fall for her. Even though I was burnt from the Greek summer sun, I managed to win her heart. We were on the beach during sunset, and while I was trying to win her over she managed to respond cleverly to each compliment I made. At that point I understood that not only I had found a great person but a girl with great power with views and ideas that I totally agreed with! It was clear I wanted her to be part of my life. The reality stroke when I had to leave her to go back to England. I couldn’t let her slip through my hands. Five years later I have a gorgeous wife and we are impatiently waiting for our baby girl that will be born this May”. Okay ladies.. melt away!

The wedding proposal took place in Thessaloniki. Lawrence knew that he was going to propose at a place that means a lot to her. So he kneed at The White Tower at 3:00am when they were just the two of them, while two of Lawrence’s friends were there secretly capturing the moment on video.

“The only thing I was nervous about on our wedding day was the weather. We have promised our guests, who were coming from 9 different countries, a fairy tale wedding during the hot Greek summer. Thankfully the morning rain was just a breath of dew during our preparation. The whole day was very emotional for both of us. What touched me most was Lawrence’s brother’s speech, telling me that I will be for ever happy if Lawrence is have the good husband to me as he was a good brother to him”.

The couple wanted their wedding to have something for Greece and that’s why the main decoration was olive. “We choose traditions from both our cultures. So our wedding was a special event to both Greek and foreign guests! When I first saw our wedding pictures I realized that the wiser decision I took was to choose White on Black Studio guys as our wedding photographer. All the pictures were natural and they managed to capture the mood and the moment of the whole day. Every time I look at them, each one gives me a different feeling.. joy, laughter, emotion and even sadness that the day now belongs to the past. If I could change something that would be the day to have 48 hours and not pass so fast!”.
