Most of the weddings, during the preparation, can bring dramas on the surface. Family drama (who will pay for what, who will get an invitation and who won’t), relationship drama (how much are we going to spend, how many guests are going to invite), and vendors drama. The stress of the wedding preparation will might cause you this kind of problems. You should know that there is a way to save yourself form time, money and major headache.

1. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING
   This is the biggest truth you will ever hear. Swear. You don’t need to have EVERYTHING at your wedding. We know that you want to have the wedding of your dreams, but you should know that you are not obliged to follow every tradition or wedding trend. If you don’t want to cut a cake, then just don’t do it. There is no rule to say that you are obliged to do it, or if you don’t like photobooths (one of the latest wedding trends), you don’t have to rent one.

   

2. THINGS WILL GO WRONG
   Either something very small, like a seating chart confusion or something bigger, like raining all day long, even if you have a backup plan for your backup plan, realize that something will go wrong. The sooner you make peace with this fact the less stress you’ll have on the big day.

   

3. MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF
   On your wedding day, during your preparation you must be ready to have a house full of friends and guests and family. Now it might seem ideal but, on that day, you’ll need some alone time to breath in the greatness of the day. Make sure to have a spare room just for you, to have a moment or two just for yourself.

   

4. STAY TRUE TO WHAT YOU WANT & YOUR BUDGET
   Set a realistic budget and promise yourself that you’ll stick to it. You don’t need extra luxury invitations if you can’t afford it. Do a good research and find the best choice.

   

5. DON’T FORGET WHAT IT IS ABOUT
   At the of the day you are getting married your best friend, your other half, and that’s what really matters. Don’t ever forget it and all your wedding planning will be easy!
