Dimitris was born and raised in Metaxochori, Crete. His father, Ioannis Manioros taught him the art of photography and since then he has been studying other artists that inspired him. He stands out for the special way he approaches his projects.
He photographs the wedding with his unique way: He is the same who caused various reactions with his project against the destruction of a chemical arsenal from Syria, in central Mediterranean.
He tried to awaken the ecological consciousness of society and politicians and succeeded greatly.
He has participated in several exhibitions and in 2014 he made his first personal exhibition on “India” in which he also traveled.
Every year he makes a new photographic trip.
