Lindsay met Spyros in Singapore… “First we met over drinks with a group of friends, then at weekend beach volleyball games and BBQs, which soon progressed to trips with friends, then trips for two to neighboring tropical islands!”.
“I fell for him because of his Quiet confidence and gently loving nature underlain by Greek passion. As he says, he fell in love with my little bit of crazy to balance his calm sensibility”. The wedding proposal happened in Paris, at the Louvre… “After impressing me with ancient Greek masterpieces like Aphrodite and Nike of Samothrace, he thought a fitting grand finale would be a presentation of him and a ring (mainly him)”.
Lindsay and Spyros’s wedding was rustic elegant with gold and pink touches. “We didn’t actually start with a theme but it all just came together that way. Something I was nervous about in my wedding day was if my dress would zip up. Fortunately, you don’t eat much amidst the pre-wedding chaos a few days before so it’s not a problem!”.
“Helena of Rock Paper Scissors was very accommodating and reassuring throughout the planning process. Even when I said we need 20 kids party packs one day before the wedding after walking into my maid of honor’s hotel room watching her 3 kids jumping off sofas and beds! Every girl needs a Helena on her wedding day!”.
“When I first saw our wedding pictures I felt like I wished we could do it all over again! My advice to all future brides is Blow your budget! You only get one really good excuse in your life to do it big time!”.
