Pink fairytale wedding in Sifnos

The underlying theme of the wedding we are sharing with you today was a fairytale wedding. The color palette, that Christina chose for her wedding was silver and pink. “The centerpieces on the tables were individual vases and silver colored pieces we purchased at the markets in Monastiraki. The bridesmaid dresses were a light pink color and they matched the envelopes for the invitations, which were white and silver. My maid of honor had a beautiful glitter blush colored dress that shimmered as well. The groom wore a beautiful blue suit with a silver vest the guest favors were white with silver rope. I felt silver was perfect since Sifnos was known for being rich in silver (and gold) mines many years ago”.

“I met Konstantinos at Old Captain Bar in Sifnos in August of 2013. I was there on vacation from Chicago with a friend and Kostas was enjoying some drinks with friends after work. He proposed in August of 2015. Kostas traveled from Sifnos to Dorio, the village where my father is from and where I was vacationing at my aunt and uncle’s house. We had lunch on the balcony and he proposed there”.

“My favorite part of the wedding was arriving to the reception at Lazarou by boat. Fireworks were exploding above us and they lit flares on the boat. It was magical. The entire wedding was magical and I enjoyed every minute, and only wish I could do it again!”.

If you ask us, our favorite part of this wedding was the stunning ball gown Hayley Page wedding dress that took our breaths away! “The top of the dress sparkled so beautifully and caught my eye right away. I loved the silhouette of the dress as well and felt it would look whimsical in Greece. Also, my mom loved it!”.

“When we first saw our wedding pictures we felt so excited and shocked! The photos and colors were beautiful and there were so many!!!”. Christina’s advice to all future brides to be is that:
