Rustic wedding with olive branches in Kavala

Rebecca & Konstantinos’s wedding in Kavala had lots of rustic elements and the olive’s color. “I met Konstantinos through an online dating site. He proposed o n a trip to Greece to visit his family. We spent a night at the Imaret in Kavala. He took me outside and proposed out the back of the hotel overlooking Kavala port at sunset. It was completely unexpected and romantic”.

The colors that the couple chose for their wedding day were olive green and white. Beside the sweet almonds, the couple offered to their guests as a thank you gift, small bottles of ouzo form Kavala. “The most beautiful moment of our wedding was walking into the reception venue and seeing so many of our friends and family from all different countries coming together to celebrate our married life with us!”.

For her wedding day, Rebecca chose a lace A line wedding dress with heart shaped neckline with a long veil. “When I first saw my wedding dress, I felt nervous and excited. It symbolized the beginning of a new chapter in my life!”.

“When we first saw our wedding pictures, we both cried with joy. They immediately brought back beautiful memories of our special day. Things happen so quickly on the day and it’s amazing what you have forgotten in such a short amount of time. “The best advice I was given before my wedding day was if your dress is tight, buy a comfortable dress for the reception that you can get dirty and dance in! My wedding dress was gorgeous but I wouldn’t have had half as much fun with my family and friends if I was hot and uncomfortable!”.
