A retro vintage wedding with mint details

Inspired by their love for Old School Rock N Roll, Maroussa and Konstantinos planned a wedding that retro colors, like red, mint, white and black were dominated the whole decoration. A wonderful DIY wedding, with retro elements that gave us the chills. The wedding we are sharing today with you was a big and great party.

“Of course our wedding theme was Rock N Roll, with the appropriate music form the specialists – we love Jitterbugs – and dance. My wedding dress wasn’t a classic one. I wanted it to be short, polka dot (nonnegotiable), retro relative to the wedding theme, and comfortable so I could dance all night long. I wanted a dress to be me! So, it had to be custom made. Getting inspired by pictures on Instagram, I went straight to La Cocotte and the result was amazing! I didn’t want to take it off, I just loved it!”.

“When we first saw our wedding pictures, it was like re living the whole experience. We still can’t get enough of the pictures and the video as well. The guys, photographers and videographer were dancing and singing among us, we became a big company and that is why we are so relaxed in our pictures!”.

“We searched so much for our photographer, because we wanted to capture, beside the classic moments of the ceremony, all the vivid moments for the dancing party we had in mind. We decided to work with Nikos Mylonas because he was so on board with our wedding theme and since he is an animal party, he was the best!”.

Beautiful Maroussa’s advice to all future brides to be is this:

"Do what you want and not what you have to do. This is your day, your party, your decisions. Be relaxed and not over-think it. Be comfortable in your outfits and don’t look more than 3-4 choices on what you want to do. Don’t start planning very early because you will get tired and you will lose your inspiration. Some months earlier (3-4 maybe), working on the idea are enough. Since you decided, just do it!"
